About the Band

The Jon Roger Band draws strong influences from alternative rock bands such as Audioslave, Silverchair, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots, but with a unique identity that incorporates Brazilian elements inspired by the boldness of Sepultura. Formed by Lucas Poltronieri, Carone Netto, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Ricardo Mendes, known as “Cachalote,” the band emerged in early 2024 with a rich and authentic musical proposal.

The band's name pays tribute to David "Jon" Gilmour and George "Roger" Waters, in a homage similar to the one Syd Barrett made when naming Pink Floyd. With captivating lyrics and engaging melodies, the Jon Roger Band celebrates the legacy of these iconic figures.
